Clinical focus

Endoprosthetics, even in such complex cases as hip dysplasia or post-traumatic arthrosis.

For many years Prof. Weber performs the implantation of hip joint endoprostheses using a minimally invasive method using the AMIS method.

Another area of his work is the replacement of hip and knee endoprostheses. Range of services: implantation of hip joint endoprostheses (AMIS method), implantation of knee joint endoprostheses (including unicondylar slide endoprosthesis), implantation of hip and knee endoprostheses in difficult situations, such as hip dysplasia or post-traumatic arthrosis, replacement of hip and knee endoprostheses knee joints.

Treatment of the following diseases: coxarthrosis (arthrosis of the hip joint), gonarthrosis (arthrosis of the knee joint), painful endoprosthesis and loosening, necrosis of the femoral head.

Biography
  • 1998 – 2004 – study of human medicine in Luxembourg, Munich (Ludwig Maximilian University), University College Dublin.
  • 2004 – 2011 – advanced training at the University Orthopedic Clinic and Polyclinic Großhadern and at the Department of Surgery at the Munich Perlach Clinic.
  • 2014 – Doctorate and appointment as Privatdocent at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich.
  • 2013 -2019 – Head physician of the clinic and polyclinic of orthopedics, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, Munich University Hospital.
  • 2016 -2019 Head of the Department of Hip Replacement and Deputy Head of the Department of Knee Replacement at the Clinic and Clinic for Orthopedics, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at the Munich University Hospital.
  • 2014 -2019 chief surgeon, then senior chief surgeon and coordinator at the arthroplasty center at the Munich University Hospital.
  • Since 2019, he has been the head physician for hip and knee replacement at the ATOS Clinic in Munich and at the Bogenhausen Surgical Clinic, as well as at the ECOM Medical Center, Munich.

With over 150 publications and lectures, as well as intensive research activities to improve hip and knee arthroplasty, Prof. Dr. Weber is regularly invited and recognized as a speaker at national and international arthroplasty events.

Prof. Weber is officially registered as a French-speaking doctor with the French consulate.
