Biography

Prof. Dr. med. Christos Haritoglou is one of Germany’s leading ophthalmic surgeons with extensive experience in treating diseases of the retina, macula, and vitreous body. He completed his medical education and academic career at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, where he earned his doctorate, qualified as a specialist in ophthalmology, and completed his habilitation.

From 2003 to 2014, he served as Senior Consultant at the LMU Munich Eye Clinic and Deputy Director of the Surgical Department. Since 2014, he has been practicing as part of a leading ophthalmology group in Munich.
