Visceral surgery, all diseases of the abdominal organs (stomach). Minimally invasive surgery. Interdisciplinary Gastrointestinal Center at the Rechts der Isar Clinic of the Technical University of Munich, in which Prof. Wilhelm, deals with all diseases of the small, large and rectal intestines. The spectrum of treatment includes a large number of clinical presentations, which may have a functional, inflammatory (benign) or even malignant cause. Colorectal surgery (colorectal tumors), inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis). Metabolic surgery (performed for obesity, diabetes).
