Prof. Holtmann performs as usual ENT operations, i.e. endoscopic operations on the sinuses, as well as restorative and hearing-improving microsurgical operations on the middle ear (tympanoplasty), and operations on the nose, with a special specialization in the field of shape-changing operations on the external nose.

In addition, auricular surgery for protruding ears is offered, as well as complete surgical treatment of benign and malignant skin changes (including defect closure) and surgical correction of scars in the head and neck area. Wrinkle correction with Botox, as well as other aesthetic interventions.

The conservative spectrum includes the diagnosis and treatment of almost all diseases of ENT medicine. This includes photo and video documentation, audiology, computer audiometry, otoacoustic emission measurement, differential balance diagnosis, testing and therapy of allergic diseases. Surgical activities are carried out at the Arabella-Clinic, Munich.
Functional aesthetic surgery of the nose. Correction of the external nose (rhinolastic surgery) and surgical treatment of difficult nasal breathing, correction of the nasal septum (senoplasty).

  • 1986 – 1995 chief physician of the ENT clinic of the Ludwig-Maximilian University of Munich under the guidance of prof. med. E. Kastenbauer
  • 1989 Receiving additional qualification “Plastic surgery”
  • 1989 Habilitation Doctor of Medicine
  • 1995 awarded the title of “freelance professor”
  • 1996 Founding and acquisition of his father’s ENT practice in Munich. Deputy head physician at the Arabella-Clinic, Munich.
  • 2006 Founding member of the “Expert Council of German Rhinosurgeons”

In recent years, prof. Holtmann has taken part in numerous conferences and internships in order to exchange experience in Germany and abroad. He is a member of numerous European professional societies.
